5 Healthy Foods If You Have a Busy Lifestyle

My schedule is always extremely busy, and I sometimes feel that I don’t have time for everything I want. Work, family, project opportunities, all of them influence my daily schedule and change the way I prioritize my activities. Thus, I often find myself skipping meals and prioritize something else instead of following a healthy meal schedule. Furthermore, after a busy day in the office, I find it easier to run to the fast food and eat something in front of the computer, than having a relaxed and calm meal. Even though I am perfectly aware that a busy day in the office is not an excuse to not eat healthy, I still do it. Believe it or not, there are many healthy alternatives you can try even if you have a busy schedule. 1. Frozen Berries

I like berries a lot and I consider them one of the best healthy snacks. They some of the most effective antioxidants and they are also rich in vitamins. Even though I prefer eating them fresh, they often end up at the garbage because of my busy schedule. Therefore, I usually buy them frozen. Apart from being more convenient, frozen berries bring the same amount of nutrients and antioxidants as the fresh alternative. Moreover, I always have a bag in the office, and I keep it in the kitchen’s freezer. Therefore, whenever I feel the need for eating something sweet or have a snack, I put them in a bowl and let them for about 30 minutes to meltdown. Furthermore, I also use them for healthy smoothies. I combine them with soya milk, and I create one of the tastiest drinks I have ever tasted.

  1. Carrots

They are one of the cheapest vegetables. But, this is not the only reason for which I chose them as healthy and balanced diets. I like carrots because they can stay fresh for a long time. For example, I buy them whenever I go to the store and keep them in the fridge for several weeks. Moreover, I put a paper towel in the bag where I store them. It helps in absorbing the moisture and keeps them fresh for a longer period. I am sure you know various recipes where you can use carrots. You can eat them fresh as a snack while in the office. Or, you can also include them in a salad. Carrots are some of the most versatile vegetables and they give a good taste to any dish you would try.

  1. A mix of cabbage, broccoli, and mushrooms

Veggies are always a good alternative whenever you want to have a healthy meal. Whether you try them fresh or you prefer to freeze them, veggies should always be part of your daily meals. For example, I create my own mixes with cabbage, broccoli, or mushrooms. I prefer them because they are rich in vitamins, but they also are extremely powerful for muscle building. If you don’t have time to cut all the veggies and add them in your dishes, then the frozen mixes are the best alternative for you. Frozen vegetables have the same vitamins as the fresh ones. In addition, you will be able to store them for a longer period as you don’t have to worry that they would rotten.

  1. Almond butter

Whether you are in a rush to your next meeting or you have to be at the kindergarten to pick up your kids, you should try to stay away from being hungry. When I am hungry, I find it difficult to concentrate on my activities and I am constantly distracted by the things around. Therefore, when you are a busy person, it is essential to keep a jar of almond butter close to you. Nuts are full of protein and healthy fats which will not only keep you full for a longer period but will also fill you with energy to resist to such a busy schedule. You can eat it in various combinations. For instance, I like spreading it on a slice of bread or I combine it with a healthy smoothie.

  1. Nuts

Nuts are perfect to calm down your rumbling stomach. They are full of monosaturated and poly-saturated fats which will keep you full for a longer period. In addition, nuts are extremely beneficial for cerebral activity. Therefore, you can rely on them when you are going through a very busy period. Furthermore, nuts are extremely versatile. For example, I like almonds, nuts, and pistachio. I combine them in different dishes, and I enjoy them at any time. Moreover, I know a lot of companies experienced in good essay writing services offering nuts to their writers to stimulate their imagination and creativity.
