War is a Bollywood Hindi-language action thriller film that was released theatrically all over India in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages on 2nd October 2019. Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Vaani Kapoor. The film follows the story of an Indian soldier Khalid Rahmani (Tiger Shroff), assigned in a case to eliminate his former mentor Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) who has gone rogue.
War was released throughout the world in conventional, 4DX, and MX4D cinema halls. The film collected more than Rs 475 crore and became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2019.

War Movie Story
The movie starts with a mysterious sniper who is contacted by an aged secret agent to kill a target from a distance. However, the sniper shoots the secret agent and flees. The sniper is then revealed to be the former RAW agent Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) who is considered to be one of the RAW’s best agents but has now gone rogue. In the next scene, we see Colonel Sunil Luthra (Asutosh Rana) informing Kabir’s betrayal to Defense Minister, who in turn asks the agency to summon Khalid Rahmani (Tiger Shroff). Khalid is also a RAW agent who was at one time mentored by Kabir. Although Khalid regards Kabir as his major inspiration, he takes on this case to track Kabir down so that he could find out why he chose to betray his country.
War movie Songs
The music album of War comprises of two songs and three themes. Vishal–Shekhar has composed two songs of War (‘Ghungroo’ and ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’) while the lyrics have been written by Kumaar. The themes have been composed by Sanchit Balhara. Although the music album got mixed reviews from the critics, the songs ‘Ghungroo’ and ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ was well-received by the audience.

Vaani Kapoor has a small role in the movie, but she has managed to enhance the glamour quotient of the movie. The movie’s screenplay has all the commercial movie components- action, drama, music, romance, and beautiful locations that make the movie entertaining.

War Box Office Collection
War is the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2019. It is also the fastest Bollywood film of 2019 that collected more than Rs 200 crore in its opening week.
The film collected Rs 53.35 crore on its opening day, which is considered to be the highest opening day collection made by a Bollywood film in India. It collected Rs 24.35 crore and Rs 22.45 crore on the second and third days respectively. Thus, within three days of its official theatrical release, War entered the 100 crore club.
With a gross of Rs 378.46 crore in India and Rs 97.04 crore in the overseas, the total worldwide box office collection of War until 28th November 2019 was Rs 475.50 crore.
